Welcome to the Fujifilm Print Experience Centre Germany

It is finally here – The new Fujifilm Print Experience Centre (PEC) Europe, bringing together the most advanced technologies and products from the Graphic Communications and Photo Imaging divisions. Last week, we finally opened the doors to our PEC at our Fujifilm Europe Headquarters in Ratingen, Germany.

We welcomed roughly 100 guests who had the chance to get the first public glimpse into the Fujifilm world of printing. The innovative concept aims at elevating the value of the print medium through integrated experiences ranging from photographic to industrial prints.

The PEC represents a real “call-to-action” for all visitors, a collaborative space where they can imagine and experience the present and future of the printing industry in all its broadest forms. Additionally, it will offer training and demonstrations to Fujifilm customers and partners, as well as the opportunity to evaluate and experiment with varied media and receive support to achieve optimal printing results.

Fujifilm & Kama Showcase World-Class Digital Print and Converting Technologies at interpack 2023

Fujifilm Graphic Communications Europe has joined forces with Kama, leading print finishing and cutting technology experts, to showcase a world-class digital print and converting production demonstration at interpack 2023. The event will take place at the Fujifilm stand (Hall 8a, Stand F65), where visitors will witness live demonstrations of the Kama ProCut 76 Foil and Fujifilm’s B2 sheet-fed Jet Press 750S and Revoria Press PC1120 6-colour digital press.

Kama’s offline post-press technology is designed to seamlessly convert Fujifilm’s best-in-class digital print output into a range of high value packaging products. Packaging converters can gain a competitive edge and expand their business potential in the production of high-quality folding cartons.

The Kama ProCut 76 Foil is one of the most versatile, accurate, and efficient solutions for premium packaging production. It offers ten different post-press and enhancement functions, including cutting, creasing, perforating, embossing, braille, hot foil finishing, and holograms. Extensive testing has proven the reliability of these solutions in the production of high-quality, shorter run folding carton packaging.

“The compatibility of KAMA’s easy to use and flexible finishing technology with our high-quality digital presses gives packaging converters additional production options, which in turn will enable them to engage new customers and enter new markets.”

Manuel Schrutt, Head of Packaging at Fujifilm Graphic Communications EMEA

“Our collaboration with KAMA demonstrates how the Jet Press and Revoria are suitable for both the packaging and commercial print markets, including food packaging, thanks to our unique FS1 ink technology.”

Taro Aoki, Head of Digital Press Solutions, Fujifilm EMEA

“At interpack, we will be showing live demonstrations of the KAMA ProCut 76 Foil machine converting and embellishing print produced on the Jet Press 750S High Speed Model at a quality level that satisfies even the most demanding markets such as beauty and cosmetics.”

Bernd Sauter, Managing Director KAMA GmbH

Make sure to visit the Fujifilm stand (Hall 8a, Stand F65) at interpack 2023 to witness the live demonstrations and learn more about the collaboration between Fujifilm and Kama. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain a competitive edge in the production of high-quality folding cartons.

Exciting News at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022

From May 31 to June 3, 2022, hundreds of exhibitors showcased yet again their newest innovations and product launches at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022 at Messe Berlin in Germany.

Fujfilm has made two new exciting announcements, unveiling its first foray into the high-end wide format hybrid market with the “Acuity Ultra Hybrid LED” and presenting its newest addition to the Acuity Prime Series with the “Acuity Prime L”.

Fujifilm launches Activ Hybrid LED UV retrofit system

Significant environmental benefits are just one major advantage of the newly launched Activ Hybrid LED UV curing system. It combines the latest, high power, low heat LED UV curing technologies with Fujifilm’s ink expertise to improve label production on narrow web presses. This enables traditional UV or water-based flexo presses to be seamlessly converted to LED UV curing. Significant environmental, cost and material savings as well as higher productivity and quality are the result.

We are delighted to be bringing such an innovative product to market. Fujifilm is proud to be the only supplier able to offer both a state of-the-art LED curing system and a high performance LED ink range to the label and packaging industry.
