Welcome to the Fujifilm Print Experience Centre Germany

It is finally here – The new Fujifilm Print Experience Centre (PEC) Europe, bringing together the most advanced technologies and products from the Graphic Communications and Photo Imaging divisions. Last week, we finally opened the doors to our PEC at our Fujifilm Europe Headquarters in Ratingen, Germany.

We welcomed roughly 100 guests who had the chance to get the first public glimpse into the Fujifilm world of printing. The innovative concept aims at elevating the value of the print medium through integrated experiences ranging from photographic to industrial prints.

The PEC represents a real “call-to-action” for all visitors, a collaborative space where they can imagine and experience the present and future of the printing industry in all its broadest forms. Additionally, it will offer training and demonstrations to Fujifilm customers and partners, as well as the opportunity to evaluate and experiment with varied media and receive support to achieve optimal printing results.

B2Run – We’re running for a good cause

Sometimes getting out o the office, doing something out of your comfort zone and just enjoying the time and activity together as one FAMILY is what we need.

That is exactly what we did at Fujifilm in Germany yesterday. Our colleagues from our European HQ Ratingen, from subsidiary in Willich and FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals Europe GmbH came together to participate in the B2Run Dusseldorf, Germany. Not only did we do something good for the team spirit and our bodies by taking part in the 6 km race, but also we did all that for a good cause.

Even though walking and running are environmentally friendly activities, the organization of such events still consumes fuel, electricity and heat. In order to make B2Run as Co2 neutral as possible, B2Run is planting one tree for each team that registered for the race. Additionally, for each participant €5 will be donated to DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH, and B2Run will also support a water power project in Uganda, Africa, to reduce the environmental impact of conventional energy sourcing. The project is the Bujagali hydropower plant on the Victoria Nile at Dumbbell Island, north of Jinja, Urganda. Among other things, it serves to improve the reliability and cost of electricity supply for Ugandan households.

An experience we have not been part of for the very first time. Back in 2019 we have also been participating in the B2Run. We can already say that this will not be the last time Fujifilm participates in this team building event.
