In a world that’s constantly changing, it’s important to pause and appreciate the little moments that make us happy, astonished, and inspired. For a professional photographer Thomas B. Jones, the X100VI digital camera has become an excellent tool of choice to capture and preserve these precious moments.
As a professional photographer, Thomas has worked with a wide range of cameras and lenses, but his search for a camera he could always carry with him led him to the X100 series. The minimalist design and understated aesthetics of the X100VI allow him to focus entirely on the moment, capturing unposed, authentic moments with no distractions.

Portraits on the street
Thomas’s love of street photography lies in capturing authentic and candid moments that tell the stories of everyday life and document the changes that we are experiencing as a society. With the X100VI’s unobtrusive nature and versatile features such as a 23mm focal length and fast autofocus, he can effortlessly capture atmospheric street portraits that capture the unique personalities of his subjects.
Moments for eternity
Photography is Thomas’ profession, but it’s also his passion and hobby. Whether traveling with family or friends, he treasures the experiences, laughter, surprises, and even the mishaps that make their adventures so special. The X100VI is his constant companion, helping him capture and freeze these fleeting moments.

Why X100VI?
Continuing the classic X100 series design, the X100VI camera features the new 40.2-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, and X-Processor 5. The sensor’s pixel structure is outstanding, allowing to collect more light than any previous X100 series camera. Moreover, ISO 125 is now natively supported. X-Processor 5’s deep learning AI technology accurately tracks a wide range of things, including animals, birds, cars, motorbikes, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones.

Apart from that, for the first time, the X100VI is capable of 6.2K/30P movie recording. It is also equipped with a tracking AF function during movie recording to ensure high-quality content creation. The X100VI comes with a new REALA ACE film simulation mode, which combines faithful color reproduction and crisp gradation. You can easily switch between a total of 20 modes, depending on a subject and scene you have, choosing from a wide variety of color expressions. One more beauty of this camera is that video and images can be uploaded directly to Frame.io, dramatically speeding up the workflow from shooting to editing.
