Global Service Center. From Portugal to Europe

Fujifilm remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable growth and increasing corporate value through its diverse business activities in a world facing unprecedented challenges. At the heart of this mission is the Fujifilm Global Service Center in Portugal. It is a hub of specialized teams dedicated to photography, printing, endoscopy and in vitro diagnostics (IVD). Teiichi Goto, President, Director and CEO of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation, recently shared his positive insights on where the company wants to go and how to get there.

Goto highlighted the company’s role in creating a healthier, more sustainable world, reflecting on the company’s purpose, “Giving our world more smiles,” which was launched during Fujifilm’s 90th anniversary celebration in early 2024.

We focus on the maintenance and repair of photographic cameras, endoscopes, printers and kiosks at Fujifilm Portugal’s Global Service Center. Our specialized teams serve not only Portuguese customers, but also some European-based customers.

In FY2023, our camera repair service handled repairs from 29 countries, with an average of 1,125 repairs per month. For customers in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy, the INNOVO team processed 300 endoscopes per month. In addition, our Photo Imaging team is set up to receive repair equipment from the major retail brands in the Portuguese market. Remote support and on-site training for colleagues and distributors is provided by our IVD European Support Center.

The Global Service Center is housed in a dedicated building. It has undergone significant changes to accommodate these diverse services. We are also excited to announce the upcoming Fujifilm Academy – a fully equipped space for training, meeting, photographing and videotaping.

Fujifilm continues to innovate and expand. We are committed to providing technologies and solutions that contribute to a sustainable future while improving the quality of life. Fujifilm Portugal’s Global Service Center continues its mission to make the world smile.
