instax at Energy Music Tour in Berlin

After two years, the Radio Energy Music Tour was finally BACK! Seven international acts and an awesome atmosphere have made this event at Tempelhofer Habor Berlin on August 20, 2022, unforgettable.

How could it be otherwise, the weather of course did not play along, but no one let it ruin their mood. The evening already started with great music acts performing on the floating stage like Justin Jesso, Leony, Kelvin Jones, Glockenbach and many more. But what would such an event be without a grand final. At the end, the event was closed with stunning fireworks.

Our colleagues from instax Germany have been part of this event too. The instax promotion team has cooperated with Saturn and captured the awesome evening with our instax mini 40. Subsequently, we were able to give you a little souvenir of the evening in form of instax instant pictures to take home.

We enjoyed the evening and loved to see some of you!

instax at Glow by dm

We still cannot believe it. After two years, the GLOW Convention by dm opened its doors again from August 13 to August 14, 2022, in Essen, Germany. Thousands of visitors, including our instax Germany team, came and celebrated together with more than 80 brands, the world of beauty and lifestyle. Of course, we could not miss this awesome event and participated with our own instax booth. Our colleagues cannot put in words how great it was to see some of our instax fans finally in real life again!

It is always exciting to be part of GLOW since there is always so much to discover: inspiring brands, music acts, DIYs, giveaways, meet & greets and so much more. Our booth came with a surprise for our fans too… We had arranged a meet & greet with influencer Julia Fröhlich and Alina Mour, so that you had the chance to get to know them. From this emotional moment, visitors have been able to take a signed instax picture home with them.

Nonetheless, there have also been a ton of instax products which have been waiting for you to test them. The instax mini 11 and the instax SQ 1, as well as our instax mini Link Smartphone printer have been presented at our booth.

We hope you had an amazing time with us and our instax products. If you have not done it already, please share your impressions and memories with us on Instagram @instax_de.

How to: Create the perfect vacation photos

Summer is probably the favorite season for the majority of us since it is holiday season. Here at Fujifilm everyone is taking a break lately to recharge their batteries and enjoy the summer with family, friends or just by themselves. Most of us love to take time off to get out of the city, country, or even continent to explore new locations and get a change of scenery. Of course, those moments, and everything we get to see and experience on those journeys, should be captured and saved as memories. Therefore, we want to show you how to capture perfect vacation photos to make your trip literally unforgettable. Here are a few things you need to know for your next vacation trip:

Wider Scenes

Usually, it is all about setting the scene, and telling the story of your vacation is no different. We all know the moment when we are travelling from an out-of-town airport to the hotel and want to catch the first glimpse of the city skyline. On a hiking vacation, in a situation where you are preparing for the ascent of a mountain, make an image of the peak’s awesome majesty. These pictures taken at that moment will preserve the feeling of excitement at the adventure that lies ahead.

Details

Wider scene setting images are great and stunning to look at, but if that is all you see, it can feel a little impersonal. Therefore, making images focusing on the details which give an area its character are important to consider and are captivating too. Details can come in a variety of forms. As unique architectural design, exotic plants and flowers, food, shapes, or anything that stands out to you.

Culture

Culture and the cultural shock experienced while travelling is probably the reason #1 we love to visit other countries and destinations. Subsequently, the best place to start is where culture itself starts: the local people. Look for any unique practices that interest you, from day-to-day life, such as local dress, food, or modes of transport, to deeply important customs and rituals such as commemoration, worship or social etiquette. However, it is extremely essential to be respectful when photographing local people because you do not want to offend or molest them. Check what is culturally acceptable and what is not beforehand, or simply ask for permission before raising your camera in front of their eyes.

Personal Experience

Capturing all the unique elements that shapes your destination is one important part, but we cannot forget what makes your trip special. It is essential to capture your own experiences as well. Tell the story from your perspective: your preparation for the trip with an image of your packed bags at home before you leave; memorialize afternoons at the beach bar with images of the waiter mixing your favorite drink; or remember the vehicle and driver that took you on a nail-biting journey between mountain villages. Most important, take photos of yourself having fun!

Remember it is all about emotions which make your story and that always begins with YOU. Do not feel like you need to make a picture, make it because you want to keep this moment forever.

Keep your memories forever – store them in a photo album

In order to keep your memories forever and with high quality, our MyFujifilm photo albums are perfect to store your pictures. Hard cover, soft cover, large, small, etc. we offer a variety of options fitting your personal needs.

Picture Perfect in Stockholm

It is not always easy to find the perfect photoshoot spot in every city. To help you find the perfect shooting spot in Sweden’s capital city, Stockholm, our colleagues from instax have created a guide for you so you do not have to search for the perfect picture. Let’s get you inspired so that you only need to put on a cool outfit, grab a friend to bring with you, and you are ready to discover Stockholm in the best way!

Town Hall (Metro Station)

As every major city, Stockholm has several nice parks, canals, and buildings! However, there is something incredible beneath the surface as well…

On the blue metro line is the town hall station on Kungsholmen in Stockholm’s inner city. The station has an incredible architecture with its red-like stone wall and large pillars, giving your image a rustic and cool style. With its 10 lens effects and 10 filters, the instax mini Evo gets you the coolest picture!

Stadium (Metro Station)

On the red subway line is the stadium known for its remarkable rainbow art. The art makes the station much more pleasant, almost to the point of forgetting that you are underground!

Grab an instax Link WIDE to capture the entire rainbow. Click into the Link WIDE app, select an image from your camera roll and add the desired feature, such as a QR Code with location!

You can use instax mini Link 2 or instax SHARE SP-3 if you want a smaller size.

Brunkebergtunnel

The 231-metre-long tunnel stretches from David Bagares gata to Tunnelgatan on Norrmalm in central Stockholm. This place is a famous photoshoot place for some because of its edgy style and cool yellow color.

We recommend using instax mini Evo to take advantage of the 10 lens effects and 10 filters that the camera offers. Use the mini movie contact sheet to get an even more popping picture!

Old Town

A place that should not be missing in any photo shoot guide is a city’s old town!

It creates an antique and historic look in your images. You will definitely meet many tourists, but there are many small-hidden streets that are perfect for making a photoshoot without being disturbed. A nice street is Prästgatan, with its yellow colors and narrow alleys.

NEW Firmware Updates for X-Series

Fujifilm is always striving to improve its products and quality for its customers. Therefore, it is essential to keep our camera system’s firmware up-to-date. Subsequently, we launched many new firmware updates for all our X-Series cameras in June and July 2022, providing you with the latest bug fixes and improvements.

If you are an owner of an X-T3, X-T4, X-T30, X-t100, X-T200, an X-A7, X-A5, X-S10, X100V, X-Pro3, X-H1 or X-H2S then you should check NEWS | FUJIFILM X Series & GFX – Global for all relevant information about the latest firmware version. Additionally, all GFX 50S, GFX 50R, GFX100 and GFX100S owners can also rejoice since there have been new updates for these camera systems as well.
