The long-awaited jubilee celebration at Fujifilm came place after an astonishing four-year pause due to the challenges created by the epidemic. 107 jubilarians from FUJIFILM Europe GmbH and FUJIFILM Imaging Systems GmbH & Co. KG gathered in Ratingen to celebrate their extraordinary 10, 25, 30, 35, and even 40 years of committed service to the firm. A remarkable 2225 years of business loyalty!
The evening began with a pleasant champagne welcome, during which Yoshiki Kimura, Managing Director of Fujifilm Europe, and Bernd Gansohr, Managing Director of FUJIFILM Imaging Systems, personally honored the staff for their long-standing dedication to the company. An expression of gratitude that emphasized Fujifilm’s familial spirit.
The celebration continued from the headquarters with a specially chartered double-decker bus to Roncalli’s Apollo Varieté in Düsseldorf. Under the theme “Meet the Street – Artists Are Also Just Neighbors,” the jubilarians were treated to an entertaining and artistic presentation. The evening was capped off with a delicious supper and a bottle or two of wine, as attendees remembered and reflected on the years they had spent together.
The journey along the Rhine promenade towards Düsseldorf’s Old Town was a particularly successful highlight of the evening. Even after the event, some of the jubilarians proceeded to celebrate the human and intimate connection with a traditional Altbier. This evening was more than just a workplace celebration; it was a manifestation of Fujifilm’s strong community and the firm’s living motto: “The human aspect in professional life should not be neglected.“
Fujifilm’s jubilee celebration was not only an acknowledgement of the employees’ long-standing dedication, but also proof that the corporation values not only professionalism but also human proximity. A completely successful evening that demonstrated Fujifilm’s positive business culture. We are looking forward to many more prosperous years and jubilee celebrations in this wonderful community!
